Despite having an absentee father, surviving abuse, and managing mental illness, Maranda is dedicated to helping others turn their pain into purpose by using her gift of writing and encouragement. Maranda holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Southern University as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.Maranda is the CEO of Elements of ME, LLC., a business that provides writing and publishing services, as well as business and personal accounting services. Maranda is an author of multiple literary works, esteemed blogger, and creator of her YouTube channel “Motivation With ME”. In her down time, Maranda loves to read, write, and travel the country speaking to a variety of audiences. As Founder and President of The Troubled Movement, Inc., a 501(c)(3) youth non-profit, Maranda is a pillar of her community and determined to create a positive change for generations to come.In January 2020, after three years of editing, ghostwriting, and self-publishing consultations; Maranda began the creation of her new publishing company, Victorian Publishing, Inc., named after her late grandmother Mildred “Mil” Victorian Stoot.
