As part of MEA Supply Planning team, I've been in charge of several roles: - Export Planner for Finish Good and Raw Materials from suppliers in North America, Europe and Asia to Gulf countries- Finish Good Planner for SCJ factory in Cairo- Finish Good Planner for contractors in TurkeyAs supply planner, I interact on a daily basis with the local manufacturing team to ensure the completion of the production to fulfill the market demand. On the other side, I also need to interface with demand planning and commercial team to keep stakeholders updated on supply constraints and risks so to work together to preemptively overcome the issues. Main activities:- Weekly production plans submission considering forecasts and safety stock strategy- Support Project Management in the launch of new products and new brand in the market- Escalation to the Management of medium-long term supply risks during the monthly S&OP review- Prompt reaction to short term disruptions and demand changes to ensure the higher possible delivery level to the market- Monthly inventory status overview to escalate obsolescence risks

The thesis addresses the issue of stacking system in food retail stores. The aim is to understand how this process is carried out and define a cost function to describe it. Secondly, a Time and Motion study in a food retail store in Milan is conducted to test the cost function and to propose an improvement plan to develop the efficiency of the process.
