Project TrofCCA “Tropical Forests and Adaptation to Climate Change”, Global Change GroupMain tasks: project preliminary exam, literature review, application of WEKA software, results analysis and mapping,proposal of practical applications.Work title: Forest fires in Central America under different climate change scenarios and a proposal for forest adaptive management

Project EROSFIRE: “A model-based, decision support-tool for soil erosion hazard assessment following forest wildfires”.Main tasks: design and installation of study plots, fieldwork, laboratory data analyses, data modelling.Work title: Erosion in recently burned Eucalypt stands in North-Central Portugal and its modelling with USLE. Different summer and winter campaigns.Phytosanitary assessment of parks and gardens in Madrid and in the selected plots belonging to the European Network of Forest Damages and Diseases Assessment.
