As a Project Manager, I lead a field project involving a large-scale survey data collection on firms in urban Uganda. The project is led by PIs Vittorio Bassi (USC), Monica Morlacco (USC), Tommaso Porzio (Columbia University) and Esau Tugume (BRAC). The project aims to study misallocation of resources and firm growth in informal clusters in urban Uganda. My tasks include:- Organizing and managing the field data collection, including training and managing teams of enumerators on the field- Cleaning, organizing and analyzing the resulting survey data- Writing progress reports to share with the PIs and donors- Writing policy reports to share with donors and policymakers- Helping with the dissemination of results to donors and policymakers in Uganda (through meetings and presentations)

From 2017 to 2020 I tutored IB high school students in Economics (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Trade, Development Economics) and Mathematics. - One-to-one tutoring sessions, once a week, preparing the student for tests and reviewing the material studied in class. Both Mathematics and Economics. - Assisted a student in writing their end of year 6,000 word-Mathematics report. - Offered intensive revision courses for 6 days, where I reviewed IB Economics HL/SL material with 2 classes of 5 students. This was a great opportunity to improve my time management skills, and my presentation skills (both oral and PowerPoint). This experience allowed me to interact with the students and provide feedback on their work to help them recognize their weaknesses and motivate them to excel in their IB exams. - Assisted Goldsmiths University of London to present its undergraduate and graduate programs the British Council "Study UK" university fair in Milan.I also helped international students with their university applications (CV and motivation letters) and guiding them through the process.

180 Degrees Consulting is the world's largest student-driven consultancy for non-profits and social enterprises. I worked on a team of international students from different universities in Madrid. Our project involved helping the founder of an upcoming school in Sevilla find a new management team. At the end of the project cycle the team presented our final pitch to the client and prepared a final deliverable to guide the client in the next steps to take.

As part of the Sponsorships Department, my role involves contacting potential collaborators and extending our chapter's network, with a special focus on North and South America. We look for companies that believe in our mission and want to support our project in Ghana.

Global Business Brigades is an international association that works with entrepreneurs to create financial opportunities in remote, rural, and under-resourced areas of developing countries. We provide business consulting and strategic investment to support micro-enterprises in Ghana.We offer pro-bono consulting and financial literacy workshops to local small scale businesses. Throughout the year, in preparation to our trip to Ghana in April, the members of the association engage in internal workshops to develop a deeper understanding of the situation in Ghana and to learn more about human-centered consulting, micro-finance, social entrepreneurship, data analysis, and impact investing.I am part of the Partnerships and Events department, and my role involves contacting potential collaborators and extending our chapter's network. We look for companies that want to support our mission, or partners that are willing to share their knowledge by holding internal workshops or company visits. I also help organize fundraising events, with the ultimate aim of financing the group's trip to Ghana.

Green Light for Business is a student association at Bocconi University that deals with topics regarding green economy and sustainability. The association has a very active role in the university, organizing conferences and workshops, carrying out a Green Campus project to reduce the university's carbon footprint, and running a blog. GL4B also holds internal workshops for the members and collaborators of the association, aiming to make them more knowledgeable in green economy. I am part of the Events Team, and I help organize fundraising and educational events, with the aim of raising awareness in the university. Some of my tasks include contacting guest speakers and organizing the structure of the conferences, as well as finding potential new collaborators.
