• Oversee and manage the production and placement of local advertisements in print, broadcast and internet media, and marketing collateral. Coordinate business partnerships, identify and pursue sponsorship, marketing, and outreach opportunities.• Travel throughout the state and nationally representing the University and the Plans as needed to meet program goals, objectives, due diligence, and fiduciary responsibilities. Represent the UA College Savings Plan or the UA Scholars Program at local outreach and marketing events. Participate in due diligence meetings with program partners, vendors, and contractors on a weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly basis to review and address investment, marketing, operations, and legal concerns.• Independently interpret, communicate, and promote program benefits to participants, potential participants, and external program partners.Consult and advise executive management on client account problem resolution and legal issues as needed. Assist new and continuing college savings plan account holders and beneficiaries with inquiries, account maintenance, contributions, withdrawals and other issues.• Generate ideas for marketing pieces and collaborate on the creation of materials including TV and print material, websites, displays, giveaways, events and sponsorships for the college savings program. Assist with the creation and maintenance of program websites, social media plan, and other communication channels.• Under general direction, implement, maintain, and deliver long-term, comprehensive strategy for the marketing, promotion, branding, public relations and outreach of the UA College Saving Plan. Forecast marketing budget needs. Assess the effectiveness of budget spent on program initiatives and make recommendations to the Director on effective spending.

The Communications & Marketing Coordinator will handle all public relations responsibilities including press releases from the Chamber office as well as those submitted to the media on behalf of the members. The Coordinator must possess strong technical knowledge of a wide variety of internet platforms including web editing programs, Constant Contact, and Vimeo. Proficient knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling and writing press releases are essential.Responsibilities include but not limited to assisting in the creation, maintenance and distribution of the following Chamber Communications: e-newsletter (Constant Contact platform) Ribbon cutting and grand opening press releases Website development and maintenance on a daily basis Social Media content and interactionThe Communications Marketing Coordinator is the lead team member responsible for promoting the Chamber and its programs, events and activities through all advertising, marketing and social media outlets to the media, public, existing members, and prospective members. The Coordinator must possess a thorough knowledge of social media, public relations and advertising production requirements as well as advertising and marketing principles and strategies. The Coordinator should demonstrate knowledge of social media, press release and collateral writing, and hands-on skills in ad layout and graphic design. The Coordinator will develop and maintain a comprehensive media relations plan including all required contacts, social media outlets, internet and traditional advertising rates, schedules and technical requirements. The Coordinator will also develop and maintain all internal marketing data bases used in promoting the Chamber and its activities. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is essential for this position.
