Provided direct humanitarian aid to migrants and asylum seekers at the US-Mexico border. Including serving meals, clothing, intake surveys and data collection of newly arrived migrants. Worked with adolescents to create and provide an immersive and well-rounded educational experience on the realities of migration at the US-México border and the work of the Kino Border Initiative.

Greeted and assisted customers on their purchases as well as any pet or product related questions/concerns. Worked a point-of-scale system, answered phone calls, open and closed the store/register, checked off orders and stocked shelves Worked collaboratively on store projects and in customer appreciation events hosted in the store

Worked in high school’s equity office developing a project called World Cafe–a bilingual space for ESL and native English speakers to socialize, do activities together, and facilitate language learning and cultural exchange.
