The Daily Aztec Newspaper is the second largest daily publication in all of San Diego catering to a student population of 33,000. While my time at the newspaper I was responsible for:• Researching and generating new leads to bring in revenue for the paper• Servicing and maintaining old house accounts• Developing special packages and advertising plans for local businesses that were interested in expanding their exposureI sold a total of $34,786 in 17 weeks.

My responsibilities as an assistant manager included overseeing store operations and daily duties, making schedules, counting money, delegating tasks to employees, hiring and training and providing customers with the ultimate customer experience. I was also in charge of our store's marketing efforts which required that I attend monthly meetings with mall management and discuss plans for special events and promotions.
