    My job as a Project Manager for failed orders was to design a plan and a process, alongside with automated and simple solutions to fix the failures in a timely and efficient manner. By integrating 2 monitoring systems and 1 automation system, I managed with my team to get to about 200-300 failures/day. To lower the numbers even more, a proactive approach was needed and I started to debug and document the issues one by one and raise defects to HQ, asking for permanent fixes. At first, this was… Show more My job as a Project Manager for failed orders was to design a plan and a process, alongside with automated and simple solutions to fix the failures in a timely and efficient manner. By integrating 2 monitoring systems and 1 automation system, I managed with my team to get to about 200-300 failures/day. To lower the numbers even more, a proactive approach was needed and I started to debug and document the issues one by one and raise defects to HQ, asking for permanent fixes. At first, this was curious for HQ - a Romanian raising so many tickets to them and chasing them for updates, but I started to discuss with them and permanent fixes were delivered. In July 2018 the management and the customer decided that my job is finished on this role managing to get the number to 50-60 failures/day. This was the point in which I was offered the Problem Management role, to keep identifying root causes for the bigger issues withing the system, to plan the solutions accordingly and to communicate with the customer on these topics. It was also the period when the telecom company for which I was offering support was starting to switch its customers from one Core to another, via Subscriber Migration - a process that was meant to go for at 2.5 years. This involved high knowledge on the Provisioning part of the system, the architecture and the integration between the IT elements and the Core elements. I started to learn this part of the system from senior Solution Architects and I took over the role of Senior Provisioning Engineer in September 2017, being the engineer to attend and handle every high-priority incident on Provisioning. I still can't decide if I love Provisioning more than the Charging part - the beauty in a BSS solution is that they all meet somewhere and the more you know about each of them, the more fascinating it becomes.
