Elena Marini is a visual poet and activist based in Italy. Since 2001, she is internationally collaborating with visual artists, poets and activists working on independent projects such as mail-art and visual poetry denouncing the society abuses. She collaborated with some of the most important visual poets, including Eugenio Miccini, Luc Fierens and Sarenco. In 2016, she was invited to take part at the international project Franticham's Assembling Box Nr. 33, visual poetry and fluxus inspired works. Selected solo shows in Italy include doppelgänger (2016), La lotta poetica continua (2017) at the Studio 38 Art Gallery, Pistoia, a cura di Giulia Ponziani and Ancora svegli (2023) at the Piano Nobile Home Gallery, Pistoia, a cura di Giulia Ponziani. Her work was exhibited internationally in art fairs and group shows, such as 51st International Contemporary Art “AU” Exibition, Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, Japan (2023) and Visual Poetry Today, Diad Studio and Gallery, Dayton (OH), USA (2023). Her works (SPOT) are included in many Italian private collections, such as Archivio Carlo Palli Prato, Museo della Carale Ivrea and Archivio MaRT Trento e Rovereto and Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Japan and USA.
