I acted as a live-in point of support for 60+ first-year residents living in the largest dorm on campus (which houses close to 1,000 students.) I made myself accessible to my residents through one-on-one meetings as well as through events I planned in my room, around campus, and off campus.

I assisted the full-time staff on a variety of administrative, marketing, and educational projects. I collaborated with the External Relations director to create new marketing strategies over social media in hopes of extending outreach. In addition, I designed infographics, Snapchat filters, and edited photos using the Adobe suite. I also completed general office management tasks, updated the ticket system, WordPress website, and synthesized financial information from google-spreadsheets.

Pie Face Pictures is an award-winning production company that creates both films and commercials. I reported directly to the principal Director/Writer of the company, helping with pitch writing for upcoming projects and editing footage. In addition to strengthening my writing, researching, and editing skills, I also was able to work on several commercial sets (Lands' End, Tretorn, James Allen.) On set, I assumed the role of "director's assistant" helping with any tasks as needed.

I've gained experience in both social media marketing and arts administration as a promotions assistant. Whether it was sending out our daily email listserv or updating one of our social media accounts, I've helped spread the department's message throughout our community. Outside the office, I also serve as the House Manager for all six mainstage shows the department produces. As the House Manager, I've learned to multitask on a new level; gaining essential customer service experience by communicating thoroughly with patrons while also helping shape their experience in the most positive light.
