With a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from VU Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Università di Trento, I have a strong foundation in the synergy of human cognition and AI. My passion is to apply this knowledge to resolve real-world challenges, especially in the field of Computer Vision.As part of my Master thesis project, I studied and understood the phenomenon of misgendering in Automatic Gender Recognition, a critical and prevalent issue in the current AI landscape. I implemented a real-time face recognition algorithm using a Convolutional Neural Network, and integrated it into a Web Application. This project demonstrated my skills in AI, Data Science, and Statistics, as well as my ability to work independently and creatively.I aspire to drive innovation and foster advancements in the field of AI, continually striving toward more efficient, precise, and reliable solutions.
