My responsibilities included editing translations from English into Russian and Ukrainian and typesetting them using InDesign, Illustrator and QuarkExpress software on Macintosh. While supervising desk-top publishing unit of the Russian Division, I designed guidelines and tests for coaching new employees. I also contributed to development of multilingual termbase of economic and financial terms by editing and adding terms in Ukrainian and Russian into the termbase. My position closed in May 2009 as part of IMF restructuring.

Provided quality review of content for five 30-minutes films on economic reform in Russia, Ukraine, and Moldova. Films were broadcast on 110 national television channels in target countries; also used by IMF Institute for training of senior country officials. Translated and edited scripts in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Facilitated post-production: coached narrators, assisted with accurate placement of video, audio and subtitles into three language versions of the films.

Instructor of English Grammar * Taught English Grammar to 300 undergraduate students.* Consulted on the issues of English grammar and instructional design.

Participated in the Peace Cruise along the Dnieper in 1989 with 33 countries participation as an interpreter and coordinator. Facilitated business negotiations among foreign and Ukrainian entrepreneurs within USSR—USA Exchange Program. Provided intensive English training to different age groups. Developed first in Ukraine course in Preparation for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and coached two pilot groups for the test.
