I have been in office administration for over 20 years. Working for a family business from a very young age, learning all my skills by being thrown in the fire. I have had the opportunity to learn payroll functions, accounting practices, human resources, budgeting, business start ups and operations. I have worked in several industries including fire protection, graphic design, marketing, dance and fitness, personal training, concealed weapons purses, general contracting, teaching art and credit union practices.I have used programs like Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Symitar, Timeforce, Laserfiche, Isolved, Jotform, Survey Monkey.I have owned several of my own businesses. Valley Dance and Fitness, Sassy Concealment, Myline Design and Athena Built Homes.Of all the areas I've worked or volunteered, my passion is building. I got my general contractors license in 2021 and started my own remodeling business. I ran the supervision side of building my own home. I love designing, painting (art and houses) and managing the building process. Currently Administrative Assistant and Foundation Director, I get to do a lot of different things in my daily routine. From the payroll reporting and reconciling to the community service organization, each day is exciting and different. I've also been know to change a light bulb, patch a hole and do paint touch up. I love the versatility my experience and knowledge provides me.I love working hard and staying busy, but my kids and husband always come first. I am thankful for all the positions and opportunities I have had that make it possible to put them first.
