I am proudly California-born and raised; I hopped around living up and down the coast, landing myself happily in the Bay Area after attending and graduating from UC Berkeley. My choice to study Communications and Media Studies grew from my firm belief that human connection and interpersonal relationships are some of the most valuable, rewarding, and fulfilling facets of the human experience we can foster. Both my degrees brought richness to my everyday experience and I value them daily. My aforementioned belief and my passion for movement and health led me to my current career at Equinox. I started as a member, was hired as a Coach, and, within one year, advanced to Management. As MNR Manager, I am primarily responsible for the onboarding and training of new Coaches. The beauty of my day-to-day lies in the quality time I spend connecting and building relationships with other humans; I work with my coaches and clients to build the necessary and desired skill sets to achieve their professional and personal goals, respectively.Soft skills like time management, emotional intelligence, relationship management, and motivational interviewing come naturally. My hard skills - sales processes, presentation building, public speaking, and behavior management - are ones I have honed and value highly. Random Facts: I love being outside and grew up on five acres in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. I work on paying my good karma forward with unconditional empathy (a continual practice). I love providing a luxury experience and a curated, coordinated one. I work very well on teams and am the first to un-mute myself on Zoom.
