Working closely with all the professionals in the office in a cooperative atmosphere where we all feel as part of a team, I make sure that all the day-to-day office tasks are done properly.I like my job because it’s varied and there isn’t almost a working day like the previous. Some of the duties I carry out:- Answering and directing incoming calls, managing correspondence and emails, scheduling the meeting rooms and uploading the corporate contacts list;- Looking after the supplies control and the maintenance of office equipment;- Greeting visitors;- Looking after invoice and other documents filing;- Managing the personnel attendance register and the hiring practices of the interns;- Collecting and disbursing funds from cash accounts, and keep records of disbursements;- Providing monthly financial reports for the accountant;- Organizing and booking business trips.

I conducted typical activities of the receptionist service: answering telephone and directing calls, giving information to callers, taking messages, or transferring calls to appropriate individuals. I also prepared correspondence and documents and managed the booking of the meeting rooms.

In a multicultural and stimulating environment i assisted the estate agents in the mediation between landlords and students. I helped foreign and Italian university students in finding an accommodation.Among my duties: - Collecting and recording the apartments’ data in a database.- Classifying apartments in order to efficiently meet the needs of the students searching for an accommodation.- Helping students in selecting apartments according to their needs and arranging appointments for the students to visit them. - Daily updating of the website database.- Promoting and organizing photography and languages courses.

After a briefing about the product promoted, I suggested the customers the most suitable products for their needs. I offered free samples and described the products’ features.

I helped the market research agency in verifying the quality perceived by customers in some commercial activities. Talking to the staff, I pretended to be a customer in order to test the seller’s ability. At the end of the survey, I filled a questionnaire about their conduct.

I provided administrative support to the researchers of the Laboratory and to the managing director. Besides traditional office activities, I helped the managing director in preparing material for lessons and exams and in revising rough drafts of reports or academic articles for publication.
