I am an architect, graduatated from La Sapienza Università di Roma and currently working as a freelancer, collaborating with Rome based architecture firms.Also attending a II level Master in 'Social and Health facicilties - design, construction and management'.I have worked as a technical employee in EnGreen, a network of qualified professionals that provides technical solutions for sustainable development. Despite my architectural background, thanks to this job I have had the unique opportunity of deepen different subjects such as renewable energies and international cooperation, which I find truly stimulating.In fact, I strongly believe in the power of architecture of changing communities' life through solidarity, cooperation and sustainable choices. All these actions have to bond together in order to enable the development.I have a special interest in humanitarian architecture.During my work experience have been working as site manager in Burundi, where EnGreen has been providing consulting service to AVSI foundation for the EU project UMUCO W'ITERAMBERE, part of a broader Resilience Program for Burundi. The project targeted 28 hills in different provinces, by providing access to electricity for basic services (24 Schools and 11 Health Centers) and productive activities (11 Multi Service Stations) and involved the construction of 45 multifuncional small buildings.Later on, I have worked ad site manager assistant in Mozambique for the construction of a PV mini-grid, part of the project ‘Renewable Energy for Rural Development’ promoted by Enabel in partnership with the government of Mozambique for the development of sustainable energy services in rural areas.
