About Eleonora Ferraris

Professor @ the KU Leuven with research and teaching responsibility in advanced manufacturing and group leader of the Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory @ campus De Nayer (AML, https://iiw.kuleuven.be/onderzoek/aml). My research focus is Additive Manufacturing, including fused filament fabrication (FFF) and aerosol jet printing for smart devices and biomedical applications. I have a multidisciplinary profile, with competence ranging from manufacturing, to materials and design, as a result of dynamic thinking, strong problem solving capabilities and the ability to acquire new knowledge. I am author of more than 150 publications, among international journals, conference proceedings and scientific talks. I developed my professional skills at different locations, and in multicultural environments. I am experienced in proposal writing and different funding schemes.
