A separate node server and custom API allowed customization of functionalities that are not native to Zoho. Final system is capable of tracking leads by proximity to purchase, stage of manufacture, shipping and freight, sales capture, bookkeeping, inventory, calendar management and outgoing email marketing. Possible future additions include a QR-driven status update system for fabrication, automated inventory re-ordering and a real-time order status lookup for the company homepage.

In an effort to contribute to the Hurricane Katrina aftermath and relief effort, New Beginnings Art was founded after the success of a social experiment which was created for a high school class project. Through the sale of music-inspired wire sculptures to commemorate the beauty of New Orleans culture, over $500 was able to be donated to Habitat for Humanity in a few short months.
