My Love for community responsibility dates back to my days in High school, where we had Social Responsibility clubs going into the community once every month. This exposure opened my eyes to the urgent matter of lack of agency in urban communities. This has influenced my personal and professional journey immensely. I have been in the community development space for over 8years now, with about 5 years professionally, having worked with the Etafeni Daycare center Trust as a trustee for 2 years. In the same period, I have developed a love for hosting social and educational events that bring together children as young as 5 till adulthood. I have worked in public health with The movement for change and social Justice as an interim committee and lived my life as a champion for public health activism.In my struggles and learnings as a community advocate, I have developed skills to sustain myself and create platforms for those I can reach, these skills include Graphic design, carpentry, and the most recent, birthed by the perils of Covid-19, urban farming using natural practices. At this point, I am on a journey of mastery, focusing on social entrepreneurship, with foundations in urban planning and alternative infrastructural development for agencies that ignite community resilience. I am open to collaborations and partnerships that add value to me as a person and the communities we call home.
