Elizabeth Hogan knows no greater joy than helping people reach their fullest potential as learners through creating community and inspiring personal growth. She's done so in a variety of group- and one-on-one settings in education and non-profits, with learners across age groups.She holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Teaching and Curriculum from the University of Missouri and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University. As Assistant Professor of Music Education at Southeast Missouri State University, she was charged with guiding people through the process of learning to be music educators whose teaching is rooted in philosophy and sparked by creativity. In her role as program coordinator, she encouraged community partnerships and internships, facilitated curriculum design and instruction, recruited students and adjunct faculty, and planned development events to connect students and area educators with thought-leaders in her field. Her public speaking and coaching skills are in demand internationally.In her work as a consultant in non-profit and higher-education sectors, Elizabeth is known for her ability to draw upon strategic analysis to inspire creative solutions. She balances idea fluency with interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills to lead projects from inception to fruition. Her compassionate approach to leadership fuels her ability to tactfully engage in challenging conversations.She currently serves as the Executive Director of the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association. She is also the founder of Elevated Harmonics Studio, where you can find her teaching private music lessons and offering educator coaching and professional development opportunities.Elizabeth approaches her work with a beginner’s mind to better understand her learners’ needs.
