Back around the Financial Collapse of 2008, Drew Waterhouse and I developed an industry-leading headhunting services firm called Hammerhouse. We recognized patterns for what makes a great match between an originator/group and an organization...these patterns became the process of "model matching." We started asking ourselves, why isn't there an "LOS" of sorts for relationship based business development? Something to help scale and build efficiencies in the processes from identification through conversion. So the idea went on the whiteboard. But we needed data to run the model at the top of the funnel. Once we acquired the data, we realized we could help the entire industry identify opportunities with market insights by giving everyone access to it...from the individual to the enterprise. We joined forces with Kirk Waldfogel and Thomas Seelbinder to create Model Match, a data/intelligence and business development platform for the industry. We take pride in listening to user feedback and use cases in continuing to evolve Model Match to help the entire Real Estate Finance and related industries identify, attract, and convert opportunity. On a personal note, I live in Hickory, NC and spend as much time as possible with my wife Nikki and two sons Abe and Tate as well most physical activities that get my hands dirty and as far from fluorescent lights as possible. I'm also a proud Co Founder of Hickory FC, a semi pro soccer team that competes in the National Premier Soccer League.
