I worked on a contract through Robert Half Technologies for Richmond Public Schools IT department. My responsibilities included creating processes, managing a small team of technicians who answer trouble calls from teachers and administrators from across the school district.

Ensure network accounts and data storage meet company security standards; supervise and coordinate the active directory account termination team; serve as liaison between active directory account team and internal business communities.

Evaluated needs of the network and contributed to the design of network architecture, integration, and implementation; installed and maintained local area network hardware and software including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring; established set maintenance windows with the business customers, which allowed time for the installation of hardware and software.

Configured, installed, and maintained desktop computers, printers and other peripherals; installed multiple desktop applications; monitored inventory control.

Configured, installed, and maintained UNIX servers and peripherals for a varied customer base around the states of Virginia and North Carolina; established schedules for routine maintenance of these systems with the customers
