The Smart Health Initiative aims to develop and utilize innovative health technologies to support and promote personalized healthcare. My contribution:● Researched & developed a review of regional and international Biobanks, which providedimportant insight for the establishment of a national Biobank.● Planned, organized and managed the logistics of an academic poster showcase event.● Conducted market research and developed a database of regional Pharmaceuticalcompanies.● Trained on Complete Protein analysis using MaXis Q-TOF tool at the Bioscience Core Lab.● Contributed to the design and content of the Smart Health Initiative Website.

A 12-month fellowship program focused on humanistic co-design process for the identification, documentation, and prototyping of early-stage innovation in Assistive Technology projects under the mentorship of MIT research scientists.I had the opportunity to work on two projects: 1) Rafeeq: A smart pen grip that eases handwriting for children with hypotonia and assists the child in applying the right amount of pressure on the pen. 2)ARL: A web extension that serves as an automatic interpretation of Arabic Sign Language (ArSL) for an engaging user experience for persons with deafness & hearing impairment.
