The Event Driven Review Operations (EDR Ops) Team is uniquely positioned between the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Monitoring Operations teams as a central point of ad-hoc, customer-posed, potential integrity risk escalations. The EDR Ops Team works closely with Adyen's Compliance teams, as well as analysts from select Monitoring Operations teams, in order to investigate and remediate integrity risks that may potentially be outside of Adyen's risk appetite.Such integrity risks include: sanction breaches, money laundering, illegal activity, card scheme compliance violations, fraudulent behavior, content violations, adverse media, and transaction laundering. The EDR Ops Team is also responsible for conducting the periodic CDD reviews of Adyen's customer portfolio of gambling operators, charities, and money transfer organisations.As Team Lead, my responsibilities include:▪Managing, empowering, and scaling a new team of 4-8 specialised (Senior) CDD Risk Analysts▪Implementing KPIs, OKRs, SLOs, 360-feedback, project management, & data-driven performance assessments▪Spearheading Adyen’s risk-based approach among the Merchant Operations and Compliance teams; automating business process improvements and driving data-driven procedure iterations▪Coaching new team leads across the global operations department▪Coordinating global cross-functional projects; managing stakeholders across Product, Compliance, Commercial and Operations departments▪Navigating internal and external audits on three continents▪Hosting international events for global departments
