PHY System and algorithm team leader – 2 to 3 engineersCurrently working on the next generation baseband processor for cellular base station to support LTE and WCDMA.Using link level simulation for LTE base station uplink receiver to explore different types of algorithms(floating and fixed point). Receiver types include the MMSE –IRC and Turbo equalization. System work includes latency, bandwidth and complexity analysis, functional partition in multi core processor environment.

PHY System and algorithm team leader – 3 engineers SoC WCDMA baseband processor for UE cellular phone. Link level simulation of WCDMA UE receiver (fixed point). Simulation include all receiver elements: Timing, AFC, AGC, Rake Receiver, Finger management, Viterbi / Turbo decoder, HARQ mechanism, HSDPA chip level equalizer using frequency domain technique, CQI and downlink power control. Close work with ASIC engineers. Close work with system integration for lab and field testing.Participation in the 3GPP –WG4 meetings
