I began my journey into the tech industries in my early years at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I began with honing my typing skills and then moving on to learn some programming languages, some of which were Java, Python, C++, C, C#, and JavaScript. I dabbled in web development in my first year at the university as a means towards improving my programming skills but ended up developing a love for it and have had the opportunity to work with two startups where I took part in developing production ready websites.In my second year at the university, I developed a keen interest in machine learning. All the algebra and statistics I had learned suddenly felt worth it. The love I developed for machine learning has pushed me to take on projects in subfields such as Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Computer Vision, NLP and Time Series Analysis. I have also been able to place well on competitive platforms such as Zindi and Kaggle.I yearn to use my machine learning and web development skills to build applications that are bound to bring about a change in the world, especially in Africa.While a trainee at A2SV | Silicon Valley to Africa, I now possess top-notch software engineering abilities, with a focus on data structures and backend programming. Being a part of an organization that develops the next wave of African IT leaders makes me proud. We are demonstrating that Africa can be a tech powerhouse with over 800 students taught and over 60 offers from companies like Google, Amazon, and Bloomberg. I'm excited to network with prominent figures in the field and possible allies to further propel technological innovation throughout the continent.This is more of a hobby but I am also very interested in Character Design and 2D & 3D Animation
