During my summer internship as a Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance Intern, I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the insurance industry. I was involved in a wide range of tasks and projects, from assisting in underwriting policies to conducting risk assessments, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the agency. Through this experience, I developed a comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, their coverage, and the process of underwriting them. I honed my skills in analyzing data, assessing risk, and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues. I was also exposed to the different aspects of the insurance industry, from marketing and sales to claims management and customer service. This provided me with a well-rounded perspective of the industry, which I can leverage in my future endeavors. As a summer intern with HomeCare Connect, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry while also developing a deeper understanding of the workers' compensation insurance field. During my internship, I was involved in a variety of tasks, including analyzing medical records, reviewing treatment plans, and assisting in case management activities.
