Co-created an organization where students of all disciplines can come to collaborate on executing on their "million dollar idea." We all have those ideas, but not everyone knows where to start... until now! I designed the logo and helped organize our soft launch and official launch to help bring this from an idea to fruition. This organization is now home to more than $10,000 worth of equipment that can help a student go from design sketches, to 3D modeling, to soldering and promotion. Under this new opportunity umbrella, I have recently launched a smaller initiative called "Rise with the T.I.D.E.S." where students are incentivized by free coffee to wake up early and work on their ideas. There is always time, we just have to plan for it. This initiative also contributes to T.I.D.E.S.' plan of engaging the local community. I met with Revelator Coffee, a brand new local coffee venue on King Street, about sponsoring us. This partnership is great for us and also them! T.I.D.E.S. offers them an opportunity to build awareness among the student body and also gets us buzzing in the early a.m.! T.I.D.E.S. currently has 10 students involved, divided between leadership and mentor positions. With some leaders working on robotics projects and some working on 3D printing a drone, we have amazing talent that finally has the opportunity to excel outside the classroom without financial barriers.

Acquiring the appropriate licenses to produce the product with specific trademarked logos, designing our logo, designing our overall product, negotiating with manufacturers located in the US and Pakistan, deciding on manufacturer, handling transaction of first shipment, gathering data about intended markets from the college's athletic accounting department, identifying and creating the positioning strategy for reaching intended markets, Developing a business plan, constructing-as well as hiring out-responsibilities associated with our e-commerce website, establishing a social media presence, executing marketing campaign, hiring a local artist to create our in-store display, working with buyers of local retail chains, and negotiating contracts with sports marketing departments at universities.
