I was born and raised in Southern Oregon. Growing up I always wanted a career in art. As a teenager I began working with my family's health food company and as I entered my 20's I began handling all of their graphic design and marketing needs. I learned many valuable business skills during this time, and although I enjoyed getting to employ my creative tendencies while helping my family I decided in the summer of 2022 that is was time to leave the company and pursue my original dream as a full time artist.As a self-taught artist I was very intentional in my education, concerned that I wouldn't be taken seriously without an art degree, and I'm happy to say that after 10+ years of practice and study my work is able to speak for itself and every satisfied client reassures me that my decision to skip the university and go straight to work was the right one. My focus is in traditional fine arts, with an emphasis on portraiture. My mediums are oil paints, acrylic, graphite, and charcoal.
