CurrentCEO of Ofanim, a non governmental organization that promotes equal opportunities through STEM education for children living in Israel’s periphery. The periphery are areas in Israel generally in the Negev and Galilee (Southern and Northern Israel) on the geographic margins in Israel that are under economic distress, with higher poverty rates and subpar educational resources. For the last 11 years, I am working to advance Ofanim’s organizational vision. The strategy is to nurture the children’s critical thinking skills, to ignite their imagination, developing their social and leadership skills, and motivating them to succeed in school and to ultimately pursue higher education in STEM fields.
