- Facilitate community consultations; Interpret legal concepts and cultural values to convey among leadership, legal counsel, staff & community members; Chair Membership and Chief & Council meetings.- Design & conduct qualitative interviews with Nation members in a ‘door-to-door’ consultation program; Organized volunteer Community Development Advisory Group to assist project management team and Chief & Council in community planning processes. - Design & co-facilitate Nation Building seminar for reconciliation of hereditary & elected governance systems. - Research Secondary language acquisition, conduct community needs assessment, access grant dollars for implementation of preferred option.- Co-direct multi-stakeholder management processes; Design & implement Strategic Education Sector development strategy and implement through strategic partnerships with post-secondary institutions regionally, nationally & internationally including SSHRCC & IDRC.- Lead planning team in successful grant applications to complete watershed & land use planning for streamlining the consultation & accommodation process.- National & Inter-national promotion through public education campaigns including written materials for distribution, broker distribution engagements, public speaking events through community and university partners, multi-media features. - Oversee Health, Education, Social Development, Public Works, Housing, and Natural Resource Management programs; Operating in a dynamic political atmosphere, manage to navigate interests from Board of Directors, entrenched staff, community members and external government agencies.- Cooperate with external Auditors, including problem solving around unique auditing considerations and multiyear retro-reconciliation of housing rental arrears.- Interface/problem solve with Workers Compensation Board Agency regarding staff injuries on the job, including extended cases; Interface/problem solve with Federal Labor Board.
