- Addition and Renovation for Ramirez Residence:Responsibilities:+ Programming: meet with client, assess client’s needs and constraints, develop the program with the client, develop visions and goals for the project.+ Pre-Design: document and analyze existing conditions.+ Schematic Design: develop design concepts, prepare schematic design documents and presentation materials (renderings and presentations documents)+ Design Development and Construction Documents: create a 3D model and construction documents in archiCAD, design custom furniture, draw construction details, choose materials and finishes.

Responsibilities:+ Programming: meet with clients, assess client’s needs and constraints, develop the program with the client, develop visions and goals for the project.+ Pre-Design: document and analyze existing conditions, make inventories of existing exhibits/furniture.+ Schematic Design: develop design concepts, prepare schematic design documents and presentation materials (renderings, diagrams, powerpoint presentations)+ Engineering Systems: collaborate with engineers to coordinate placement of new and/or relocation of existing building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, fire safety, security, telecommunications/data) + Design Development and Construction Documents: create a 3D model and construction documents in archiCAD, design custom murals, design custom shelving, draw construction details, choose materials and finishes, conduct quality control and consistency for construction documents, exercise interpersonal skills (listening, responsiveness, respect, and diplomacy)+ Project Management: prepare bid documents and needed addenda, participate in bidding/negotiation phase, prepare needed documents and apply for building permits, construction observation, punchlists, construction meetings.+Leadership and Service: organize, design, and participate on public design workshops/charrettes.
