I am currently a student at Shepherd University pursuing three majors of Political Science, Environmental Studies and Global Studies. I have a deep passion for environmental protection, and much of my studies has been oriented towards understanding how to get countries to comply with multilateral environmental agreements and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.In the classroom I have developed a wide ranging toolkit of brief-writing, conducting intensive literature reviews, and working with programs such as ArcGIS and RStudio. Outside of the classroom, I do a lot of independent study with professors within the Political Science program at Shepherd and work with organizations on and around campus on various projects ranging from civil political discourse, multicultural affairs, sustainable farming, and voter turnout in West Virginia. While I have excelled at Shepherd University both in and out of the classroom, I am eager to get more involved with organizations pertaining to the protection of the environment, global governance, and/or international relations.
