Grant Morgan, Ben Boyer and I founded the company to help combat all known pathogens: COVID-19, seasonal flu, Norovirus, E.coli, MRSA, C.diff and whatever COVID-25 might be. R-Zero combines superior UV-C disinfection technology with modern software tools to reduce the spread of communicable diseases and deliver compelling ROI. Our full-stack biosafety platform closes the loop on disinfection, beginning with dynamic risk modeling that quantifies the risk of any indoor space. In the process, we are also decarbonizing disinfection. R-Zero has raised $170M+ USD from investors such as Mayo Clinic, John Doerr, Qualcomm, BMO and the earliest investors in Tesla and SpaceX.I cofounded and served as CEO of EcoFlow for more than 3 years. EcoFlow is the industry-leading portable power, solar technology and smart home energy solutions company. EcoFlow products also serve to foster inclusion and raise standards of living in areas where power shortages stunt growth and development. A privately held multinational company, EcoFlow has raised over $100M USD by Sequoia China and Hillhouse Capital, ~$1Bn USD in annual revenue.From 2015-2016, I led International Strategic Partnerships at DJI Technology, the global industry leader in manufacturing and developing UAVs (drones). I focused on integrating aerial platforms into commercial verticals: public safety, agriculture, and critical infrastructure. During this time I was recognized by St. Gallen University as a 2016 Leader of Tomorrow.In 2014, I was employed as the American team member of the China Business Development Team for FLIR Systems, the world’s leading infrared technology company. Previously, I completed two separate Fulbright Scholarships In Beijing. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College, maintaining a 3.92 GPA. I am fluent in Chinese, both spoken and written, having passed HSK Level 5, the internationally recognized Mandarin fluency examination. I received five separate fellowships for study and work in China for extended periods of time: Amherst China Initiative Fellowship (2012), Fulbright Scholarship and Ouyang Family Fellowship (2013), Fulbright-Hays Scholarship (2014), and Stanford University FACES (2015). During university, I was the Captain of the Amherst College Club Soccer team.
