My name is Eli Hendricks, I'm a University of Kentucky graduate with a bachelors in Journalism/Communications. I have a lot of experience in the sports and news industries. I worked for the SEC Network at UK and filmed women's basketball, baseball and volleyball and learned how to work utility in a variety of environments. My favorite experience though was interning for WLEX 18 in Lexington, Kentucky where I was assigned cover highschool football and UK's football program. At that position I was also given the opportunity to work their Breeder's Cup live shot with the sports and weather crews for three days. I'm a highly motivated self-starter who is able to gather information and fact check in a matter of minutes. I approach everything with healthy skepticism and professionally live by the motto from my journalism professor Jen Smith, "If your mother tells you she loves you, get two sources to confirm."
