  As a cashier, my job consisted of scanning peoples’ groceries and ensuring that all of their shopping needs are met before exiting our store. I was also given opportunities to work in other departments of our store, such as our store's Knowledge based service (KBS) team. As a KBS member, I was tasked with preparing food samples and convincing our shoppers purchase the items I was sampling. From interacting with a large variety of different people each day, I learned how to effectively communicate and work efficiently to produce the best results.
