I’ve always enjoyed being kept on my toes, finding new challenges to solve. Similarly, I enjoy long distance running, which, wouldn’t you know, also keeps me on my toes. If you ask a runner what it takes to complete a full marathon, many will tell you, “it’s about perseverance and breaking through that wall”. After many years on engineering teams, I was asked to join the sales organization and haven’t looked back. I still find opportunities for creativity and exploration while ensuring I stay light on my feet juggling opportunities, building solutions and managing relationships. Don’t forget about when things break - scratch that, nothing ever breaks in IT. While I was running a recent half marathon, I twisted my ankle half way through. I thought about quitting too many times to count. But despite the 6 miles left, mental and physical fatigue, and trail mix overdose, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, I’ll break through that wall. Now, I put that perseverance to work as the Director of Cloud for PKA. I don’t have to run any miles or climb any mountains…but I do have to move them.I’m well-versed in solution selling, planning and development, relationship management, operations and logistics coordination.
