In 2007 I began to understand that the world was changing in regards to the way we communicate with each other. This occurred parallel to the change consumer habits. Shopping would never be the same, we were entering into a new era of communications between people and products. At that time I had a revolutionary idea of selling diamonds and high end jewelry online. This was a way to propel our three generational family business of diamond cutters and manufacturers into the 21st century. I was able to convince my father to photograph 20 of his rings and sell them on eBay.I met immediate success and even though I was still attending University, I was able to establish an e-commerce department at our family business. In 2011 I decided to take a step further and I established my own company CaratsDirect2U. We were able to partner with the leading online retailers in the world such as Amazon, Sears,Buy.com,OpenSky,Walmart and PriceFalls.I spent all my time learning about programming, marketing online and jewelry photography.I set up a team of professional workers and we created the technology which allowed our company to allow other diamond manufactures and cutters to sell their jewelry and diamonds across many platforms from one central database.We offer our partners marketing, high-quality photography, logistics and customer support.Hopefully this is just the beginning of our journey into the exciting world of luxury online sales as we look forward to many years of selling high quality and unique items of diamond jewelry online.

My duties included being an informal teacher in the Miami Beach Jewish Day School. I also was instrumental in establishing and developing a youth group for young impressionable Jewish teenagers. In addition to having to come up with creative solutions to keep the kids engaged I had to manage the finances and stick to a budget.
