In my role, I aided the mission of empowering families to seek, achieve and maintain financial stability. I was deeply affected by helping people improve their own personal finances and these experiences showed me the difference that effective budgeting could make in people’s lives.

In my role as accounts receivable manager, I ensured the proper posting of data, handled all customer and employee inquiries into account balances, entered new inventory into the computer system and processed all returns by returning items and refunding money. In my role as an accountant, I was given a lot of work that I performed on a consulting basis with some of Aaron Bloch’s QuickBooks clients. I also entered payroll data, prepared quarterly payroll filings for clients and entered client financial transactions in preparation of tax filing and financial statements.

In my role as full charge bookkeeper, I was responsible for tracking and paying sales tax monthly and preparing end-of-year financial statements for the accountant. Additionally, I created and maintained spreadsheets that tracked automobile sales for internal use and the Department of Motor Vehicles. I counseled people on proper household budgeting skills and helped families in debt create a realistic debt repayment plan.
