Hi, my name is Eli Maxwell I am currently a flight student at Auburn with my Private Pilot and Instrument rating hoping to have my commercial and graduate by the spring of 2025. I grew up playing competitive golf with the goal of playing at a division 1 university. Out of highschool I committed to play golf and was accepted into the United States Military Academy at West Point after receiving a nomination from Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN 8th District) . I spent two years there hoping to branch aviation out of the academy before medical circumstances forced me to pursue aviation outside of the military.After leaving the academy I decided to pursue aviation as a career, but I also started competing in triathlon and bike racing. I've always loved competition and the army also brought out my desire to be physically fit so outside of aviation I spend most of my time on the bike, in the pool, or on the treadmill.Ultimately my goal is to fly professionally and am open to many different career paths. However, my time at the academy was very special to me, and I would be very open to flying opportunities that include an element of service.
