As a medical student at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, I am pursuing my passion for health and wellness, and learning how to apply osteopathic principles and modern medical education to help improve human health. I have a strong academic background in kinesiology and health promotion, with interest in lifestyle modification effects on chronic disease in our world today. I have also gained valuable research skills and experience as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Wyoming, where I investigated the relationships between exercise timing and circadian rhythm in mice, using techniques such as DEXA, qPCR, and data logger implantation.Future research interests include investigating osteoporosis progression in older adults who exercise.
