My name is Eli Olsen, and I am a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech. While I enjoyed many aspects of Materials Engineering, I pivoted to Programming through the Dev10 program, with a focus on programming in Java. This experience served me well in my next position at Celigo, where I worked with representatives from many different companies, designing software business automations using the Celigo platform and a good chunk of non-Celigo-specific technical know-how. I'm currently looking to step into a more direct software development role.In my spare time I like to code (shocker), write fiction (Fantasy, not Sci-Fi, funnily enough), and fall into whatever interesting informational rabbit holes I happen to stumble across. I'm polite and very easy-going in otherwise stressful situations, though I prefer to get my work done early rather than end up in such situations to begin with, and I enjoy learning on the job where possible.
