My name is Eli Reed; I am a former student and SkillsUSA team leader and officer (Lead Drafter - Designer) for the Pre-Engineering program at The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center (WCCTC). Before completing my education in the WCCTC’s Pre-Engineering program, I completed The WCCTC’s Drafting program, scoring above the national average on the annual NOCTI Drafting exam. My main skills are primarily related to AutoCAD Inventor, including 3D printing. I have had plenty of experience working with the standard Ender 3 although I have been trying to use the more mainstream Ender 5 and Dremel 3D45 printers. Additionally, I have been learning how to operate smaller wood mills. My main strength in AutoCAD is design, and I can create parts that are not only efficient but also aesthetically pleasing. I have been slowly working toward further developing my understanding of logistics. My role as a SkillsUSA Team Lead has allowed me to build my leadership skills and allowed me to focus more on improving my documentation skills. After graduation i pursued a degree in Engineering, i stopped this as i wanted to focus on my weak points in my career, so i started to pursue education in the computer field, working to further my understanding of programs and utilities like java and C++. This helps me further my goals of creating whatever i want and programming it as well.
