For me, it all started with a tomato—tasting one that was fresh and full of flavor. This changed how I see food and agriculture, transforming my interest in food into a passion for making sustainable foods exciting and accessible for my generation. As a home cook, I used to think it was the cook who made food taste great. Now, I realize that quality ingredients are key, and the cook’s role is to guide those ingredients.With experience in both restaurants and accounting finance, I’ve seen the complexities of the food supply chain and the financial systems that support it. Working on the restaurant floor and in the kitchen, I’ve learned what it takes to make a restaurant function, from inventory and prep to delivering a quality dining experience. During my internship, I gained insights into the logistics of delivering products to customers on a large scale.I aim to connect producers and distributors, using my skills in communication, leadership, and sustainability to drive impactful solutions in food distribution. To achieve this goal, I’m eager to deepen my understanding of these pillars. I’m open to opportunities in sustainability, technology, agriculture, food distribution, and financial systems to gain valuable experience.
