Impacted music ministry at UUCL by creating new & renewed opportunities for musical connection and community at UUCL beyond choir and congregational singing:● UUCL Jam Sessions: Hosted alongside Alan Dynin, casual music meet-up working to provide music outreach beyond the choir expanding to contemporary and instrumental music.● UU &Me Song Circles: Collaborated with staff & lay leaders to create and lead new curriculum with kids up to 6 years of age and their families.● Music on the Mulch: Hosted in the backyard of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster, provided performance opportunities for bands to play and social connections to develop in a COVID-safe setting during the pandemic.● Collaborates with musicians of all levels and experiences to facilitate fresh and engaging Sunday morning worship.● Collaborates in shared leadership: Growing crossover ministry with children’s faith development, weekly worship planning with worship team; combined choir with UU Berks, and co-created & led many musical worship services.● Supervises pianist, choir accompanist, and many of the tech volunteers at UUCL.● Assisted in maintaining all aspects of streaming services during the pandemic including video editing, creation of virtual choir videos, developing the tech team, streaming the services themselves, and adapting to all the needs required to make virtual worship happen.
