Eli is a recent graduate from a Professional Master of Science Technology Program with a focus on Environmental Science and Water Resource Management. The value he brings from past occupations across various industries includes over 10 years of patron-facing roles with several of those years in a supervisory position for a department that is responsible for operations and logistics in the busiest building on the University of Utah Campus. Eli's educational strengths relate to an understanding of climate change, and the interplay of societal and environmental interactions that generate both problems and solutions for working towards a sustainable future.A scientist at heart, Eli also understands the need for business acumen, communication, and leadership within the environmental service industry. He has proven himself in the field working in a variety of conditions for Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter and with Salt Lake County Watershed Restoration & Planing. Eli also brings experience from many project opportunities. These efforts range from research and report writing, environmental restoration projects, preparing grants and acquiring funds for green infrastructure development, site characterization and assessment, and strategizing on methods for remediation of contaminated groundwater.
