Lab manager and research technician for the Moore lab, working on the role of Rem2 in intrinsic neuronal excitability.Using neuron culture and IHC/ICC to study ion channel changes in response to Rem2 KD/OE. These studies will be followed up with electrophysiology to determine functional change.Using qPCR, Western Blot, and conditioned place preference in a variety of Rem2 KO mouse lines to determine the relationship between Rem2 and learned drug addiction.

• Built and deployed a volunteer base by recruiting, motivating, and managing volunteers for canvassing and phone-banking• Organized phone-banks and canvasses, ensuring that all get-out-the vote contact goals were met• Supervised and trained interns

Led two-week outdoor adventures for children ages 11-13 in Yosemite and Tahoe. Focused on hiking, camping, and wilderness skills.

Past Roles: Classroom Support Manager, Classroom Support Technician, Office Manager- Long-term strategic planning- Having a comprehensive working knowledge of all of the technologies our company services at Wesleyan University, and the communication skills to troubleshoot over the phone or in person- Working alone or in small teams to provide pleasant and efficient customer service to clients of various age and ability- Managing and coordinating teams of technicians in the field as new data and problems emerge.

Provided support, energy, and IT training to the staff and senior patrons of the 92 Y Himan-Brown Senior Program

- Studied macroinvertabrate taxonomy and reporting findings to my supervising scientist- Became efficient at a variety of laboratory tasks- Learnt about policy recommendations being made to the Department of Natural Resources as a result of the macroinvertabrate lab's findings

Worked in a small team assisting dermatology office in transferring medical records to a digital platform for day-to-day and long-term use.

- Maintained and encouraged the mental, physical, and emotional growth of campers with the use of educational and non-educational activities alike. - Created a safe space for campers to explore and challenge their identities and the world around them in the framework of a cohesive group of campers committed to the care and respect of each other- Worked with a team of 2-5 other counselors to provide safety, care, and supervision of 20-60 children, 24 hours a day, for seven weeks.
