I'm a third year student at Laurentian University, interested in helping to restore the environment and in the future of energy at an atomic level, especially in a sustainable fashion. I have 8+ years of volunteering experience, primarily with the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program which accompanies youth ages 11-14 to become the best people they can while bettering their communities. Through this work I have developed leadership, organization, collaboration and responsibility, as well as the ability to think critically about a problem and come up with a solution.Over the summer of 2023, I worked as a research assistant under Dr. Buijs looking into the creation of tritium for the purpose of creating sustainable nuclear energy. Also, in 2021, I worked a 10 week coop term with McMaster University in assisting Graduate students with their research on the Faraday effect. Over the course of this 10 weeks, I put together a literature review on this topic. I have also worked as a private tutor for subjects such as English and math.
