Led the content moderation team of an experimental online safety and speech regulator established to guide Facebook and Instagram on their most challenging content decisions globally. Managed and grew a team of more than 28 globally-dispersed, full time employees. Drove cross-functional decision-making by building trust and proactively liaising with key stakeholders. Served as subject matter expert on pressing trust and safety issues, such as hate speech, bullying and harassment, dangerous individuals and organizations, and violence and incitement, among others.Advised and supported Oversight Board Members in their selection of cases, deliberations, decision-making, and formulation of policy recommendations. Measured and monitored the impacts of the Board’s decisions on Facebook users, content policies, and products. Delivered regular briefings and updates to Managers and Trustees.

Oversaw all engagements and day-to-day operations of emerging markets strategic advisory firm that counseled clients on new market entry, policy development, advocacy strategy, and risk mitigation.

Founded and managed expeditionary rule of law project; scaled into accredited law degree-granting program. Secured $500,000 annual budget through innovative fundraising efforts and catalyzed subsequent $7.2 million grant.
