Contributed to multiple ataxia-related clinical research studies in The Kuo Lab:-Leading new research inquisition on the intersectionality of heart rate variability, fatigue, and cerebellar degeneration in ataxia based on autonomic dysfunctionality. IGT+mIGT- Co-authoring new study on impulsivity and compulsivity of ataxia patients. Spearheaded patient participation effort and saw increases by over 40% and contributed to data analysis and graph configuration. -Leading patient recruitment and data acquisition for a Natural History sub-study on ataxia patients. Attempting to draw correlations between depression and other commonly observed ataxic symptoms.Contributed to the writing of multiple IRBs for various clinical science studies.

Increased Student Government budget by 150%.Initiatives and Progress:- Created and implemented a school-wide peer-tutoring program for high school students in preparation for AP, Regent’s, LOTE, and other year end exams.- Founded “The Snack Shack,” an entirely student-run in-school snack store created to help peers have quick access to nutrition throughout the school day at reduced, pre-inflationary prices. The Snack Shack donates all proceeds back to student government, and has provided students the opportunity to earn community service hours. Currently seeking 501c3 nonprofit designation.-Hosted and Planned first school formals post-covid, reviving long lost events that foster unity and community amongst students.-Designed a Respect for All Week implemented to celebrate our school’s collective, diverse backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities.-Planned two school wide Spirit Weeks.- Hosted a school-wide Chess Tournament and created a March Madness Bracket Challenge.- Planned first ever Senior Field Day in Central Park.- Created designated office space for Student Government, the first for an in-school club, hoping to increase direct communication between the student body and Student Government Representatives.

Conducted research on the implementation, usability, patient benefits, and overall impact of a Table-based Teleretinal Screener, a novel technology used for diagnosing diabetic retinopathy in clinic. Presented findings at NYU Research Day.
